Percepción cultural del videojuego en la sociedad y el desarrollo de habilidades

Han pasado algunas décadas desde que se inventaron los videojuegos, y aunque al principio solo se trataba de la diversión y el desafío, ahora también es una forma de aprender. La experiencia de juego es fructífera, invitando siempre al usuario a superarse a si mismo, presentando cada vez un reto con mayor dificultad y un contexto distinto, llegando al punto en el que se puede apreciar como arte la forma en que funciona el medio, además comienza a utilizarse para el desarrollo de habilidades, desde estudios académicos que hablan sobre el desempeño escolar hasta la inmersión de simuladores para practicar actividades. Los videojuegos son realmente importante en nuestros tiempos y el uso que se le dará, dependerá del papel que le demos en nuestra sociedad.It’s been a few decades since the invention of the videogame, at the beginning the point was about having fun and the challenge of it, now is about learning too. The game experience is profitable, always encouraging the player to overcome oneself, facing a bigger challenge each time they play, reaching the point were it can be perceived as art by the form the medium works, also its beginning to be used for skill development, from academic researches about school performance to immersive simulators to practice activities. Videogames are really important in our times and the use that will be given to it will depend on the role we are going to lend to it.
