Este curso pretende realizar un análisis de las relaciones entre Egipto y otros pueblos a través de las manifestaciones artísticas, un contacto que se remonta a los tiempos previos a la etapa faraónica, y que continúa en los periodos posteriores y de manera muy notable en época grecorromana. Las relaciones con otras culturas supusieron un destacado elemento enriquecedor mutuo, pese a la visión etnocentristaque los propios egipcios nos trasmitieron en sus fuentes escritas. En el curso se darán cita diversos docentes e investigadores españoles, quienes mostrarán sus investigaciones en el campo del arte egipcio y lasrelaciones con el arte de otros pueblos.
