The Seminar

Environmental resources have been depleted due to rat race of modernization, leading to instability in the environment. This environmental degradation has adversely affected biodiversity and ultimately affecting the quality of human life. Degradation of the environment is an international problem. Besides modernization and industrialization, this degradation is being brought about by population explosion, urbanization, various forms of pollution, and unprecedented spread of science and technology. Environmental problems in most of the world are still caused by poverty and ignorance. It is responsibility of all nations that they don't harm the environment outside of their jurisdictional boundaries. It is necessary to support and stabilize the environment. Until we secure our environment, we can never achieve our goals of economic and social development. It is clear that environmental crisis has deepened and has become a prominent problem for the entire human race. The gap between the rich and poor is increasing. All of these are exacerbated by terrorism, Naxalism, unemployment, population explosion, dangerous diseases and social problems like poverty etc. Therefore, there is need for a worldwide awareness towards rising environmental issues. This seminar will provide a unique opportunity to participants and bring them at a common platform to find a possible way out for improving the quality of environment.
