LA CORREGENCIA DE HATSHEPSUT Y TUTMOSIS III A TRAVÉS DE LAS IMÁGENES

Tutmosis III, quien logrará crear el Imperio Egipcio en su máxima expresión, no reinará solo, sino que lo hará en compañía de su tía-madrastra Hatshepsut. Esta corregencia será un periodo muy fructífero para Egipto, como se puede ver en las imágenes y textos que han llegado hasta nuestros días. En ellos se puede apreciar las riquezas del Imperio y, además, observar una relación entre ambos monarcas que dista mucho de la teoría tradicionalista de usurpación del trono por parte de Hatshepsut. En este trabajo se analizará dicha relación a partir del testimonio que aportan las imágenes que han llegado de aquella época.Tuthmoses III, who created the Egyptian Empire, reigned with its aunt-stepmother Hatshepsut.
