ABDEL RAHMAN BADAWI; existentialist philosopher 1917-2002

Badawi, who write in French, English. Spanish, German & Arabic  defined  nature of Islamic civilisation  by measuring its reaction to Greek philosophy ; he predicted tragedies - like 9/11 September - resulting from the unavoidable "clash of civilisations", as "an inevitably irresolvable problem" 57 years before the American sociologist Samuel Huntington did.
