Abstract:This article deals with the crises multiple aspects – both positive and negative ones – in general, it also analyses the concept of meaning in relation to human needs, motivation and individual value hierarchy.The research part concentrates on finding out individual sources of power, motivation and the will to go on, in other words, the awareness of inherent meaning which helps to endure critical life circumstances. It also aims to inquire the partecipants attitudes towards meaningfulness of their existence.Key words: Frankl, value, crisis, will, research, sense.
