Teacher explains that we should not use only the stadiometer in order to measure things. She shows wood stick, spam hands, feet… for knowing another non-standard ways of measurements.
Teacher explains that we should the body parts to measure different things.
SS measure the board using spam hand and the carpet using foot.

Ss' play memory games using fruits, vegetables and another kind of food. In order to know their previous knowledge about them.

Ss' watch a video about parts of a plant in order to ss name some of them.

Ss´ watch a video (in the garden) in order to show the growing process of the plants.
Some vegetables like radish and carrot grow up under the ground.
Some vegetables like lettuce grow up over the ground.


Teacher introduces the new information about parts of the plants and comment about
some roots that we could eat (sweet potatoes, yucca, carrot, onion, radish…) and some that we could not eat.
