In this study we seek to validate the laboratory test comprising determining the digestion of several selected in aqua regia by atomic absorption and ICP-OES elements, to this were used copper concentrates for determining Cu, Fe , Ag and As, and white in the above process.Previously to the study It has been made history collection which introduced us to the world of mining, where we could appreciate the ways in which minerals are found on land, their way of extraction, abundance and use worldwide.It was also internalized in the instrumental chemistry to see the principle of operation of the equipment Atomic absorption and ICP-OES.The necessary background It also takes to perform a validation, which are set in the ISO-17025 standard for testing and calibration laboratories.For the validation ICP-OES equipment wasn’t used as it was broken, so it was decided to add validation certified reference material for low concentration samples (tails).During the process were observed that the results were not optimal for all analytes under study as to the completion of silver and arsenic mass used for the analysis was not representative for an accurate reading.The results obtained in the validation, realize that the MRC CCU-1d is only suitable for Cu, Fe in the "digestion in aqua regia multiple selected items" method and in the case of MR GBM 398-4 is suitable only for Cu at low concentrations. Therefore the method described in the study is validated only concentrates Cu to Cu and Fe. As in the case of reference material of low concentration is validated only for Cu.
