Título del Proyecto: Problemas aristotélicos en metafísica, epistemología y filosofía práctica, y su impacto en discusiones medievales y contemporáneas. Aristotelian Problems in Metaphysics, Epistemology and Practical Philosophy. Their Impact on Medieval and Contemporary Debates. Descripción del Proyecto (en solapa sigeva UNL): El presente proyecto se inscribe en un conjunto de discusiones actuales sobre tres órdenes principales de temas vinculados a la tradición aristotélica en metafísica (hilemorfismo, esencialismo), epistemología (dialéctica y teoría de la ciencia) y filosofía práctica (ética y filosofía de la acción). Se trata de un proyecto integrador de tres grandes perspectivas de discusión acerca de estos temas, que nos proponemos desarrollar aquí tanto en un orden histórico que abarca edición, traducción y comentario de textos, así como otras tareas, objetivos y metodologías al trabajo de un historiador de la filosofía como en otro orden sistemático que abarca desde un examen estrictamente conceptual y argumentativo de las tesis de Aristóteles hasta discusiones sobre problemas de la metafísica analítica contemporánea y la teoría de la acción. Our Project carries out three different but intertwined topics arising from the Aristotelian tradition in metaphysics (hylomorphism, essentialism), epistemology (dialectic and the theory of science) and practical philosophy (ethics and theory of action). We aim at discuss these topics from an historical as well as a systematic point of view. On the one side, the historical labour covers edition, translation, and text-commentary, and related aims and methods in the area of the history of philosophy. On the other side, the systematic work includes conceptual and argumentative analysis on theses that spans from Aristotle to several discussions in contemporary analytic metaphysics and theory of action.
