Universidad, desigualdad y justicia social

RESUMEN El artículo plantea que la desigualdad y la justicia social siguen siendo materias pendientes para la Universidad. Se analiza la problemática de la desigualdad en educación superior desde tres ejes: uno interno a la institución vinculada con las características específicas de este dispositivo educativo, otra que interpela a la función social de la institución, por lo que necesita leerse desde la articulación entre la universidad y la sociedad y una tercera más bien externa, relacionada con el Estado y las políticas públicas educativas que la incluyen, que retoma el debate sobre la autonomía y la responsabilidad pública. ABSTRACT This article proposes that the inequality and social justice are still pending issues for the higher education. It discusses the issue of the inequality in higher education from three axs: one internal to the institution linked to the specific characteristics of this educational device, one that challenges the social function of the institution, for what you need be read from the articulation between the university and society and a third rather external, related to the State and public policies that include educational, that the debate about the autonomy and public responsibility.
