Toscanos y la importación del aceite griego en la costa malagueña durante el periodo fenicio arcaico

La presencia de un importante número de ánforas griegas en Toscanos y la incertidumbre sobre la existencia de olivo cultivado en la Península Ibérica antes del siglo IV a.C. nos mueve a reflexionar sobre el suministro de aceite de oliva en el mundo fenicio occidental durante el periodo arcaico. Nuestra hipótesis de trabajo se centra en considerar que la mayor parte de este producto que se consumió en Iberia entre finales del siglo VIII a. C. y ca. 500 a. C. fue importada a través de redes comerciales griegas en colaboración con agentes fenicios.  ----------  TOSCANOS AND THE GREEK OLIVE OIL IMPORTS IN THE COAST OF MÁLAGA DURING THE ARCHAIC PHOENICIAN PERIOD. The presence of a large number of Greek amphorae in Toscanos and uncertainty about the existence of grown olive tree in the Iberian Peninsula before the 4' century BC are motives of our reflection about the supply of olive oil in the Western Phoenician world during the Archaic period. This researching hypothesis focuses on considering that the major part of this product consumed in Iberia between the late 8`h century BC and ca. 500 BC was imported by Greek trade networks in collaboration with Phoenicians agents.
