The Solway Estuary: a socio-cultural evaluation of a coastal energy landscape

This report, co-authored with Darrell Smith, Ian Convery and Billy Sinclair, considers the impact of offshore wind farming, and specifically the Robin Rigg array, on socio-cultural, ecological and economic values around the cross-border Solway Estuary/Solway Firth. Combining information from field-recorded interviews with people of the coastal communities on both sides of the Solway, it suggests that unded by the University of Cumbria's Energy Coast Campus Programme (ECC), financially supported by the UK Nuclear Decommissioning Authority.
