The Quirimbas Islands Project (Cabo Delgado, Mozambique): Report of the 2015 Campaign.

In 2015, a new archaeological project waslaunched in the Quirimba Islands, an archipelago locatedin northeastern Mozambique, near the borderwith Tanzania. The project, financed by the Ministryof Economy and Competitiveness, aims to study thesettlement in these islands during the first millenniumand the first half of the second millennium ADand its role within the Swahili culture and the EastAfrican international trade. This report presents theresults of the first fieldwork campaign that took placein June 2015.
