Superexplotación de la fuerza de trabajo en América Latina: consideraciones teóricas

Resumen: En el presente trabajo se busca rescatar el debate sobre la superexplotación, tanto en sus orígenes teóricos como en las posteriores discusiones en el pensamiento social latinoamericano. Esto bajo la hipótesis de que tales producciones intelectuales siguen representando herramientas heurísticas útiles, que permiten aprehender las mutaciones recientes del capitalismo neoliberal y las problemáticas que actualmente enfrenta el mundo del trabajo en la región. Mediante una revisión de la elaboración teórica en torno al concepto de superexplotación desarrollada por el brasileño Ruy Mauro Marini, así como de las principales discusiones y desarrollos posteriores en torno al mismo, se señalan los aspectos centrales del concepto, sus principales nudos problemáticos, así como algunas claves de interpretación para el estudio del trabajo en América Latina hoy. Abstract: In the present work we seek to rescue the debate on overexploitation, both in its theoretical origins and subsequent discussions in the Latin American social thought. This, under the assumption that such intellectual productions still represent useful heuristic tools that allow to apprehend the recent mutations of neoliberal capitalism and the problems that the world of work is currently facing in the region. Through a review of the theoretical elaboration on the concept of overexploitation developed by the Brazilian Ruy Mauro Marini, as well as the main discussions and further developments around it, we point out the central aspects of the concept, its main problematical knots, and some interpretation keys for the study of work in Latin America today.
