Sujetos populares y mitologías populistas

Resumen En el artículo se presenta al populismo en tanto que relato mitológico, del cual, por su eficaz captura de la totalidad social y política de la Nación, no se puede escapar. A partir de los casos argentino y brasileño puede apreciarse cómo distintos productores simbólicos hacen sus aportes a las mitologías populistas y cómo estas siguen vivas, interpretando la historia a la vez que produciendo presente y futuro. Abstract In this article, populism is presented as mythological narrative, of which, because of it's efficient capture of the social and political whole of the Nation, one cannot escape. From the Argentine and Brazilian cases it can be seen how different symbolic producers make their contributions to populist mythology and how they are still alive, interpreting history while producing present and future.
