Social Justice or General Ignorance?

In the name of Allah, Ar-Rahman Ar-Raheem. May Allah praise and send peace upon the Messenger of Allah.Social Justice or General Ignorance?It is quite common to hear from those who speculate about the causes of the rise of khawaarij beliefs and acts in our time, that it is due to poverty, unemployment and the government monopolizing the wealth. Many blame the Muslim government for not providing people with employment and not creating enough jobs, however did they ever question whether in fact these are duties of the government or not? The first of the khawarij blamed the Messenger of Allah (sallAllahu alayhi wa sallam) for being unjust in distributing a portion of wealth. It is ignorance that lead the khawarij of the past and present to make these false judgments. Below Shaykh Al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah mentions the ways of distributing wealth from the treasury (bayt al-maal) and whether the poor have first priority in every situation. Instead of blaming all problems on the rulers, we should take it upon ourselves to rectify the situation and be of benefit to Islam and the Muslims.
