Descripción

From the phenomenological method first developed by Edmund Husserl, the German philosopher Martin Heidegger describes concrete religious phenomeno, based on the Pauline epistles, which is paramount to fulfill their phenomenological goals. Max Scheler, with his book On the Eternal in Man, whose first edition was published in 1921, describes a “religious revival”, becoming one of the biggest influences for scholars of religious phenomena. Therefore, this research seeks to make a philosophical interpretation of key texts of the philosophers Heidegger and Scheler. In phenomenological perspective, on the one hand, the research aims to understand how Heidegger understands the “factual experience of life” and, on the other hand, how Scheler thematizes the concepts of “religion”, “man”, “God” and “metaphysics”.Key words: Religion, Man, God, Metaphysics, factual experience of life.
