Significado literal: una noción problemática, in “Doxa”, 30, 2008, pp. 617-634.

In this essay, the author inquires into and criticizes several notions of the expression «literalmeaning» employed by jurists. In consequence of this analysis, she suggests a differentnotion, aimed to stress the relevance of the context in fixing the meaning of sentences. At the end,the proposed notion is compared with the one codified by the art. 3 of the Spanish civil code.
