SEAL-USE AT LM IB AYIA TRIADA: A MINOAN ELITE IN ACTION. Part I. ADMINISTRATIVE CONSIDERATIONS

At LM IB Ayia Triada, nearly 150 seal-types were involved in over 1,000 contemporary administrative transactions. This was the first study of the sealings focusing on their exceptional record of use: Which seals were most frequently used, and for what kinds of business?While some of data has been superceded by subsequent studies -- and the old numbering systems needed to be updated -- I believe that the analysis is still of value.
