REVISIÓN HISTÓRICA, LOCALIZACIÓN Y ACTUALIZACIÓN DE LOS RESTOS FÓSILES DE HISPANOTHERIUM MATRITENSE DEL YACIMIENTO MIOCENO DE PLASENCIA “DEHESA DE LOS CABALLOS” (CÁCERES, EXTREMADURA)

A review of Hispanotherium matritense remains from the Miocene outcrops of Plasencia (published by F. Hernández Pacheco and M. Crusafont Pairó in 1960) is presented in this paper. Updated morphometric data and new files and unpublished illustrations of these classical material are additionally provided.
