RES 56. La metáfora del viaje del héroe en la narración de nietos de expresos políticos: la postmemoria de la prisión política y tortura en Chile

Este artículo analiza la postmemoria de nietos de expresos políticos encarcelados durante la dictadura cívico-militar chilena. En el estudio participaron catorce jóvenes con un promedio de 21,4 años de edad, provenientes de las regiones Metropolitana y de La Araucanía. Se utilizó el relato de vida como técnica de producción de información. Se realizó un análisis narrativo basado en los aportes interdisciplinarios provenientes de la teoría de la interpretación y la teoría del discurso. Los resultados del análisis permiten identificar el uso de la metáfora del viaje del héroe en los relatos. Se discute la tensión en torno a las posiciones de víctima, testigo y héroe; y la necesidad de confirmar socialmente las experiencias de violencia política.This article analyzes the post-memory of grandchildren of former political prisoners who were imprisoned under the Chilean civic-military dictatorship. The participants in the study were 14 young people of an average age of 21.4 years, from the regions of Metropolitana and La Araucanía. The life story was the technique used for producing the information. A narrative analysis was done based on interdisciplinary inputs from the theory of interpretation and discourse theory. The results of the analysis made it possible to identify the use of the metaphor of the hero´s journey in the narratives. The tension with respect to the positions of victim, witness and hero is discussed, as well as the need for social confirmation of experiences of political violence.
