Religiosidad y liturgia combativa de la Orden de Calatrava. Un libro de horas para sus caballeros

This essay introduces an unpublished text of a Book of Hours of theOrder of Calatrava, found thanks to a new catalogue done for the Library of the University of Leipzig. Through that original text, entitled «Rule of how the kights of the Order of Calatrava must pray their hours» we can have a look at the religiousity and liturgy of the Military Order of Calatrava, specifically its knightly members, in a time frameworkthat we believe should be between the end of the fourteenth century and early fifteenth century. An study on the text and its context, as well as a general approach to the subject of the religiosity of the Military Orders is attached to the edition.
