Relatos hermenéuticos y activismo feminista en el Islam:hacia una Teología de la mujer musulmana como sujeta política

This article presents the main aspects of feminist hermeneutics in Islam, an intellectual effort that pose a revision and a critique to the hegemonic androcentrism currently guiding principle of “Truth” in the interpretation of sacred texts and the coloniality of religious discourse on women as othering. From cosmological principles of the Koran, feminist hermeneutics underlies a political activism that aims to change the discourses and practices of discrimination against Muslim women by others in favor of equality, gender justice and human rights.
