Recent Failures of Allentown School District Encouraged Peaceful Protest

This paper highlights the inequalities and injustices that have existed in the Allentown School District (ASD) over the last 20 years.  ASD's failure to effectively listen and communicate with community leaders, organizations, students and parents ultimately caused students to exercise their first amendment right to peaceably assemble in the form of walkouts which occurred on September 28th and 29th, 2015.
