Proyectile Points in post contact sites from SW Patagonia.It is proposed that the introduction of the horse did not produce a total abandonment of the bow and arrow by hunter-gatherer groups, but replacing them by the bolas for hunting in the plains and plateaus (open spaces). In environments of canyons and lagoons, bow and arrow would have been a more succesfull system for hunting weapons, because the horse would not have been effective in closed environments. From here it is derived as expectation that higher frequencies projectile points associated with bow and arrow are in eaves and / or parapets located in canyons or lagoon systems where the stalking would have been more effective.
