Descripción

This paper presents experiment results of pressure combustion of homogenous combustion compressed natural-gas direct injection by running engine with 1.596 Liter capacity, 4-cylinder spark-ignited and 14 compression ratio. Pressure combustion was recorded under a wide-open throttle using an engine control system (Rotronics) and engine pressure sensor type (6125B) KISTLER. The engine was running at speed ranging from 2000 revolutions per minute (RPM) to 4000 (RPM) with 500 (RPM) increments. Results show the pressure cylinder one, cylinder volume and crankshaft angle. From results, the highest pressure is 187.4 (Bar) at 4000 (RPM). Additionally, the results show the peak pressure degree was changed during different engine speeds. The brake mean effective pressure (BMEP) is highest at 4000 (RPM), which produce high brake power and brake torque.
