En el marco del quinto Foro anual de la ONU sobre las empresas y los derechos humanos, así como en el quinto aniversario tras la adopción de los Principios Rectores por el Consejo de Derechos Humanos, el Instituto Interamericano de Derechos Humanos tiene el honor de invitarlos a la presentación del libro Derechos humanos y empresas: reflexiones desde América Latina. Esta obra, coordinada por Humberto Cantú Rivera, Investigador del Centro de Derechos Humanos y Derecho Humanitario de la Universidad Panthéon-Assas París II (Francia), reúne a más de 25 académicos y profesionistas en el campo, quienes comparten a través de 20 capítulos sus impresiones y planteamientos en torno al desarrollo de esta temática en América Latina. Esta obra, que aparecerá a finales de 2016, contiene tres secciones que abordan estudios del panorama internacional en la materia; estudios de país, en donde la cuestión es analizada conforme al desarrollo nacional; y estudios temáticos, donde se analizan distintos aspectos que impactan directamente en la responsabilidad de las empresas en materia de derechos humanos. At the Fifth Annual UN Forum on Business and Human Rights, and in the fifth anniversary of the adoption of the UN Guiding Principles by the Human Rights Council, the Inter-American Institute of Human Rights has the honor to extend an invitation to the presentation of the book Human Rights and Business: Reflections from Latin America. Edited by Humberto Cantú Rivera, Researcher at the Centre de recherche sur les droits de l’homme et le droit humanitaire (CRDH) of PanthéonAssas University (France), this book gathers more than 25 academics and practitioners in the field, who share throughout 20 chapters their thoughts and proposals on the development of business and human rights in Latin America. This book, which will appear in late 2016, is divided in three sections, focusing on the international landscape; country studies, where the issue of business and human rights is analyzed through a national lens; and thematic studies, where different aspects that impact directly upon the corporate responsibility in the field of human rights are analyzed.
