Phenothiazine derivatives

Phenothiazine derivatives R 0630 Potential Antimicrobial Agents: Trifluoromethyl-10H-phenothiazines and Ribo— Some novel fluoro-10H-phenothiazine derivatives (VI) are synthe51- 153 furanosides. sized via Smiles rearrangement of 2-formamido-substituted diaryl sulfides (V) and selectively converted into corresponding β-D- as well as α,D-ribofuranosides (X) and (XI), respectively. The majority of these compounds show moderate to fairly good antimicrobial activity. — (SINGH, G.; KUMAR, N.; YADAV, A. K.; MISHRA*, A. K.; Heteroat. Chem. 14 (2003) 6, 481-486; Dep. Chem., Univ.
