The Order of Creation You touch me, and transmute yourself, into the fiery primeval Purush: the ingenious, pre-eminent progenitor of the myriad creations. Your omnipotence to be contained, only by the Shakti, Shiva, Jagadamba. You manifest in the microcosm, unadorned, yet luminously ornate… The world slowly unfurls itself, into a tapestry so fecund, that instantaneous incarnations of being reminisce your wondrous imperium. Exalted, unalloyed power unleashed, into the Hiranyagarbha, the cosmic vessel, I touch you, and conjoin myself unto you. ____________________________________________________ The Scuffle No, No, She cried. Why not, He pried. Let me go, She wailed. Not now, He curtailed.

I need air, She gasped. But not here, He rasped. Let me think, She prayed. After I'm done, He entailed. I shall fly, She hurried. Not this time, He scurried. Let me decide, She knelt. No, not again, He spelt. I shall exist, She screamed. At my mercy, He beamed. Thus Feeling and Reason Fought each other, cried treason, And left me utterly adrift, To witness the ancient rift. Then Life slipped down the time's bend And all else, abruptly, came to an end. ___________________________________________________

Locomoting Selves (Or, Locomotor Love) Once in every few days, We meet. Share precious breaths, to last the next few days. Exchange information and updates, some vital, others mundane. And relish the wholesome spread, savouring (for) each other. Then head together for the Metro train; ticking off stations, towards transitory detachment, stirring Us somewhere deep within. Changing trains to become You and I, set-apart until the next meeting, to become Us, once again. ______________________________________________________________ Shock Absorber I always thought that a Shock Absorber was merely a mechanical device of my father's two-wheeler. Then I met you. Counted the fine lines carved on your youthful face. Beheld with wonder the fragrant smile dancing continually on your dark lips. Dived into the hidden depths of your luminous eyes. And sprung upon You. ______________________________________________________________

Calculations I still have to figure it out. (A pity it's not a mathematical problem that would have been easier to handle!) Many years ago, when I first recognised the signs, Many more years to come when they will keep recurring. They were not present in the beginning though, When the budding plant could still bow. Now things are rather complicated A few more years down the line to be devastated, And I still need to figure it out How to keep the Smile alive without having to wear it… ********** Top
