Poblado de Berrozi (Bernedo)

The intervention carried out in the Berrozi settlement completed the archaeological assessment of the areawhich will, in the future, be occupied by the new Biomass Plant, and enabled the registry of structures andelements linked to the early medieval village documented for the first time in “La Reja de San Millán” in 1025. Theinformation obtained clearly indicates structures made from materials from this period, which were possiblyabandoned at some point during the 12th - 13th centuryMoreover, the characterisation of the elements detected seem to suggest the location in this area of the site ofstructures related to production activities within the medieval Berrozi settlement.
