On the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the birth of Lui gi Pi randello , Prof. Dani ela Bi ni (University of Texas, Austin), Dr . Mi haela Mehr (PhD, Italian, University of California, Los Angeles) and Prof. Mi chael Subi alka (University of California, Davis), will look at the evolution of Pirandello's creative process and the impact that one of his muses, Marta Abba, had on his last works. Prof. Thomas Harri s on (Italian Department Chair and Director of Graduate Studies, University of California, Los Angeles) will moderate.

Admittance Policy: The Italian Cultural Institute is an Italian Government office. Security is enforced at all times, all guests attending events must complete a reservation under their legal name (first and last) as per valid government issued photo ID. NO ONE WILL BE ADMITTED WITHOUT A RESERVATION AND VALID GOVERNMENT ISSUED PHOTO ID. The Institute reserves the right to refuse admission to anyone. Doors open to members with valid membership cards at 6:00pm and reserved seats can only be held until 6:20pm. Doors open to the general public at 6:20pm. No entry is permitted after the event starts. Only small personal items are allowed (no large items such as suitcases and backpacks). PARKING ON THE PREMISES IS NOT PERMITTED AT ANY TIME. Violators will be towed at their expense. Registration: You must enter your complete legal name and email address, and the complete legal name of your guest. Incomplete and incorrect information will be refused.
