Descripción

e aim of this work is to present the problem of the relationship bet- ween Perception and Abduction (Hypothesis) in Peirce’s philosophy, in order to show them as creative processes able to introduce a novelty in the realm of knowledge. First of all, this article shows how every kind of knowledge, even the logical one, has its root in the ground of the perceptual experience, and how this last one implies a cosmological continuity between the mind and the world in order to be operative.  erefore, it highlights how the Hypothesis is precisely the process that suddenly recognizes this cosmological continuity of experience between the mind and the world. Finally, it emphasizes the Abduction as the reasoning that, freely, obstructs and modi es the continual  ow of the perceptive experience, creating new con gurations of meaning, which evolve into innovative systems of belief and habits of practical life. Keywords: Perception, Abduction, instinct, cosmological continuity, liberty, creativity.
