The Archaeological intervention in mount Urdiñeira and its surrounding area project was a program launched from Universityof Vigo with the intention of providing context to a prehistoric deposit, formed by two gold bracelets and a bronze disk,found, by chance, in early 20th century closed to the village of Parada da Serra, in A Gudiña municipality (SE Ourenseprovince). Context of that deposit was completely missed due to the idiosyncrasies of the historical circumstances of this kindof findings, always considered to be “treasures”. The original research frame, aimed to study the inhabitancy of the territoryand the consolidation of pathways, was expanded to different archaeological research fields. Therefore, there are ongoingresearches in the field of Archaeometallurgy throughout experimental archaeology experiences concerning bronze productionduring Prehistory, developed by Aaron Lackinger; in the field of Archaeomining and Ethnoarchaeology about the use of tinore resources in the area, developed by Cristina Fernández and the field of Analysis and Interpretation of the archaeologicalheritage throughout audiovisuals, by Abraham Herrero; all of them under the direction of Dr. Beatriz Comendador, and withthe Urdiñeira Project as point of departure
