NUEvAS TENDENCIAS DEL TURISmO y LAS TECNOLOGíAS DE INfORmACIóN y LAS COmUNICACIONES1

Tourism has evolved since it began up to our days. There are three main factors that have generated changes in the tourism system. First, a change in the social vision of the world and the behavior of the human being beyond its environment, factor that is more related with the sociological and natural aspects. Second, the evolution of the means of transport. Third, the appearance of new communication media and technology as a motor of change. This work will refer to the first and the third factors, explaining the shifts that have been suffered in the market and that actually mark the new trends of tourism, taking advantage of the technologies of information and communications.
