Resumen: Se presenta el estudio detallado y una nueva lectura de la ins-cripción del ara romana de Castrogonzalo. Se confirma que es un ara votiva a una diosa pero no se puede determinar su nombre ni el del dedicante. Palabras clave: Hispania romana. Epigrafía latina. Ara. Abstract: This paper deals with a Roman altar from Castrogonzalo. After an in-depth examination of the stone, the new reading confirms that it was dedicated to a goddess but we could not ascertain her name nor the devotee's identity.
