Multiculturalismo: Entre el avance y el retroceso de la liberación popular

Resumen El multiculturalismo en Colombia se erige como el conjunto de discursos y prácticas que rigen el funcionamiento de la creación y constitución de alteridad. En este artículo se analizan las categorías que se usan y se han usado para poder llevar a cabo dicha creación de alteridad y para poder hacer de esta un factor de organización y configuración de las dinámicas políticas de la sociedad colombiana. Además se hace un recorrido por ciertos aspectos de la filosofía de la liberación que se usan como herramienta analítica para entender, por un lado el dilema que se representa dicho discurso y por otro lado, el impacto del multiculturalismo en la generación de un proceso de ruptura de las estructuras que generan opresión. Multiculturalism: Between the progress and the regression of the popular liberation Abstract Multiculturalism in Colombia stands as a group of discourses and practices which determine the way that alterity is created and how it operates. In this article there is an analysis of the categories that makes possible the emergency of the alterity as we know it and that make of this last a factor that determinate the configuration and organization of certain political dynamics of the Colombian society. Besides, in the present article there is a study of some aspects from the liberation philosophy which would been used as an analytical tool to understand in one hand the dilemma that the multicultural discourse represents, and in the other hand how the multiculturalism impact in the generation of a rupture process with the social oppressive structures.
