MUJER Y EJERCICIO DE PODER. LA ÉTICA QUE NOS HACE FALTA

Cuando una mujer alcanza el poder ¿por qué pierde sus valores femeninos de solidaridad, democracia comunitaria, atención por el otro, preocupación por los más necesitados? ¿Por qué niega su feminidad desde el poder y asume valores masculinos al dirigir? Las mujeres, desde el poder, deben comprometerse con sus valores femeninos y hacerlos visibles desde sus cargos, a la vez que trabajan para mejorar las condiciones de otras mujeres que siguen sus pasos. La democracia necesita ese aporte positivo de la feminidad, de sus valores, de su perspectiva de entrega, servicio, transparencia, honestidad e incluso de sacrificio. Y es que el poder debe ser entendido y vivido como servicio, es la forma de evitar el desastre permanente que el manejo político del androcentrismo ha marcado en la historia humana. ¿Estás dispuesta a vivir tu compromiso político sin renunciar a tus valores? Necesitamos de más mujeres dirigiendo como mujeres. Es el momento histórico clave para ellas. When a woman reaches the power, why she loose her feminine values of solidarity, community democracy, care for the other, concern for the needy? Why she denies her femininity and assumes power to direct from the masculine values? Women in power must engage with their feminine values and make them visible from their positions, while working to improve the conditions of other women who follow in their footsteps. Democracy needs the positive contribution of femininity, its values and its perspective of service, transparency, honesty and even sacrifice. And that power understood and lived as a service is the way to avoid permanent political disaster caused by androcentrical management.
