MONUMENTO 21 PRECLÁSICO DE EL MIRADOR. TEMPORADA 2009

The paperwork exhibited here, will present comparative iconography featuring preclassic mayan stones, with the recent monument 21 that was discovered in El Mirador in 2009. By means of a comparative study, it will propose a hypothesis about the stylistic configuration regarding this stela, and the social-religious significance that would entail the location next the Triadic Complex Cutz. El trabajo aquí expuesto, realizará una comparativa iconográfica de estelas preclásicas mayas, con el reciente monumento 21 descubierto en El Mirador en el año 2009. A través de este estudio se va a cotejar y proponer una hipótesis sobre la conformación estilística que pudo tener dicha estela, y el significado socio-religioso que conllevó a su ubicación junto al Complejo Triádico Cutz.
