El modelo de cotización que se presente fue diseñado, probado, validado y aplicado en el proyecto de suministro e instalación de sistemas eólico y solar- fotovoltaíco en una vivienda particular de la localidad de Rio Indio, Alcaldía Majahual, Municipio Othón P. Blanco, Quintana Roo, México.  El equipamiento y los aditamentos presupuestados, resultan del análisis del sistema a crear y, en particular, del cálculo de demanda de energía solar y eolica; se encuentra en https://www.academia.edu/30087007/  Este modelo es utilizado por VEN como material de apoyo al entrenamiento sobre el trabajo para la administración de proyectos de innovación tecnológica en ahorro y uso eficiente de energía.
