This paper deals with the Michael Sandel's arguments against human enhancement. It is stressed that the main objection is not new; it had been already exposed by authors like Miguel de Unamuno. Finally, it points out that Sandel's position on artificial fertilization seems incoherent with its point about human enhancement.
