Mathematics teachers must make a great effort to get their pupils to learn a subject which lacks good press. In this article we tell about an experience we have undertaken using humour as a didactic resource in the fractions learning process. The experience has been done with children from 11 to 13 years old studying in the seventh grade of state school belonging to the city of Buenos Aires' Town Hall. Thus on teaching this topic, the teacher asked children to elaborate graphic jokes about it.
