Manzanilla (ed.) 2012 Estudios arqueométricos del centro de barrio de Teopancazco en Teotihuacan

This book addresses a multiethnic neighborhood center in Teotihuacan: Teopancazco. Thirteen field seasons by Linda R. Manzanilla in this neighborhood center could establish functional sectors: ritual, administrative, craft, military, medical, and kitchen-storerooms. Through archaeometrical analysis, the dating, geophysical prospection, the analysis and provenance of slate, lapidary, pigments, cosmetics, and other materials are describes. A section is devoted to the trace element and isotopic analyses of human remains of 116 persons buried in Teopancazco. This research won the Alfonso Caso INAH award for 2013.
