Los tejidos coptos del Museo de Montserrat. Fuentes documentales y formación de la colección.

The aim of this paper is to show how the collection ofCoptic fabrics “Ramon Soler Vilabella” of MontserratMuseum was formed. This fact is associated with AlbertGayet archaeological campaigns of the early twentiethcentury. The importance of these campaigns and the textilecollection formed, lies in all written documentationthat allowed us to give a context and a rough chronology,both as training materials thereof.
