Los orígenes de la Organización Indígena-Campesina y el surgimiento de los discursos reaccionarios durante la Reforma Agraria en la provincia de Cautín, Chile, 1967-1973, por OVIDIO CÁRCAMO HERNÁNDEZ

En 1973, Chile vivió el capítulo más dramático de su historia reciente, el golpe militar. La confrontación ideológica anterior a esa fecha dejó una huella indeleble en la sociedad. En el medio rural, la situación no fue distinta, ya que mientras agrupaciones como el Movimiento Campesino Revolucionario promovieron la eliminación del latifundio, los grupos patronales y la derecha política buscaron desestabilizar al gobierno de Salvador Allende, a través de la violencia y el sabotaje. En este trabajo analizamos los orígenes del discurso indígena campesino y de la retórica reaccionaria en la provincia de Cautín, en el sur de Chile. In 1973, Chile lived the most dramatic chapter of its recent history, the military coup. Ideological confrontation prior to that date, left an indelible imprint on society. In rural areas, the situation was no different, since, while groups such as the peasant revolutionary movement promoted the Elimination of the large estate, employer groups and the political right sought to destabilize the Government of Salvador Allende, through violence and sabotage. In this paper we analyze the origins of the peasant indigenous discourse and the reactionary rhetoric in Cautín province, in the South of Chile.
