Los Gráficos Existenciales en la historia de la lógica simbólica

Different attempts has been made in order to distinguish the different trends of thought coming together in the origins and early development of symbolic Logic. Jean van Heijenoort introduced the influential distinction between logic as calculus and logic as universal language. This paper aims at showing the problems resulting of applying this distinction to the diagrammatic logic devised by Charles S. Peirce under the name of Existential Graphs at the beginning of 20th Century.
