LESIONES TRAUMÁTICAS EN UN INDIVIDUO DE LA EDAD DEL BRONCE

In this study we focus about some traumatic lesions found in a skeleton from Terrera del Reloj (Dehesas de Gudix, Granada, Spain) dated back to Bronze Age. The individual'is a man of around 24 years old and presents the typical burial pattern of El Argar culture. A cranial trauma and a non reduced luxation of the right shoulder with a healed fracture of humeral greater tuberosity were found. These lesions may be caused by a great fall which lefts him partially disabled. Other pathologies were also found such as Schmorl´s nodes, a disc hernia and slight ostoarthrosis in lumbar vertebrae that could be subsequent to fall and the severe disability of right shoulder.
