In this article we explore the problematic around the reading of Kierkegaard who has been proven to be a very difficult author to interpret correctly, since he used a wide range of literary and philosophical resources in his work. We propose a logical division between the possible interpretations of the works of Kierkegaard that includes some of the most popular positions between scholars concerning, especially the relationship between the pseudonymous and the works signed by Kierkegaard with his own name. We also address that the classical division of direct and indirect communication is problematic, since this simple way of classifying Kierkegaard's works fails to explain the complexity of certain ways of communication used by the author: for example: the pseudonymous Anti-Climacus who uses a mixed way of direct and indirect communication. We point out that a more complete concept of communication is needed and that is possible to find this complexity in Kierkegaard's own work. Finally, we show the problem involving the relationship between the spheres of existence and the types of communication; each sphere of existence uses a particular way of communication that cannot be reduced into the direct/indirect communication division. We develop a second division of the types of communication that includes the ways of communication of the spheres of existence.
