Las logias antirrosistas: análisis sobre dos agrupaciones secretas que intentaron derrocar a Juan Manuel de Rosas, 1835-1840

El presente artículo analiza la trayectoria de dos organizaciones secretas que se conformaron entre 1835 y 1840. La primera en Uruguay y la segunda en Buenos Aires, ambas con el objetivo de derrocar al régimen de Juan Manuel de Rosas en Argentina. A pesar de no haberse mostrado completamente exitosas en sus fines, se busca aquí revelar sus estrategias, sus sistemas de comunicación, sus planes y las relaciones internas entre sus integrantes. Esto para concluir que las logias resultaron determinantes en el complejo engranaje de oposición al rosismo, por cuanto constituyeron un componente más de un accionar persistente que sólo vería consumados sus esfuerzos en la batalla que acabó con Rosas en Caseros (1852).*This article analyzes the trajectory of two secret organizations that were formed between 1835 and 1840. The first appeared in Uruguay and the second in Buenos Aires, and both were created for the purpose of overthrowing the regime of Juan Manuel de Rosas in Argentina. Despite the fact that neither was completely successful in achieving said objective, the article aims to reveal their strategies, their communication systems, their plans and the internal relations among their members. The conclusion is that these lodges playeda determining role in the complex machinery of opposition since they constituted an important component in the persistent drive to oust Rosas, which would not be completely successful until the battle that finally liquidated him in Caseros (1852).
