Las cuentas claras: el rol de la mujer ibérica en la economía doméstica

This paper is based on an analysis of the distribution of artefacts in a variety of domestic contexts from Iberian sites, such as La Bastida de les Alcusses, El Puntal dels Llops and El Castellet de Bernabé. The main results of this study demonstrate an important conexion linking maintenance activities, the production of metallurgy and administrative tasks. The evidence suggests that the production of silver artefacts was carried out at the household level. In addition, these domestic contexts reveal a series of objects, such as weights, lead writing tablets and keys, all connected to the realm of administrative aspects of the household economy.
