The systematic study of inventories of goods give us the possibility of tracking the beginning of the biggest cultural contributions born in the society. It´s a certainty that one of the most important advances wich Occident felt during the Early Modern Age was the circulation of the written word; consequently, this study tries to go into the reader outlook of the urban population seeking the presence of books and libraries in the domestic spaces of Zaragoza in XVII and XVIII centuries. The possible results which we could obtain with this exercise will give us interesting clues of the advancing cultural homogenize, and also information about the volatile intellectual horizon of the modern cities.
